Regional integration is a key strategy for development and intra-regional trade is expected to produce considerable economic gains for Africa. Although it is widely recognized that intra-regional trade could play a role in accelerating economic growth and poverty reduction in Africa, the continent continues to trade significantly less with itself. The main question, therefore, is how to reverse this situation.

North African experts thinks that North Africa have to take styep for financial integration even if commercial integration is still low.
